Trust vesting on a deed..In Reply to: How to write a deed posted by craig mitchell on May 22, 2003 at 1:02 PM : Can someone fax me a copy of a filled out grant deed showing title being held in a land trust. : I am going through louis brown course and he recommends inserting the duties of the trustee into the deed itself or attaching an addendum to the deed showing the duties of the trustee. : This way no one wants to look at the trust agreement to see the trustee duties. : He has an example of a warrantee deed but not a grant deed. : If anyone here can help that would be great. : My fax is 253-323-7311 : thank : craig =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Craig, The preferred grantee vesting on any deed regardless of whether it’s a warranty or quitclaim deed, goes “Might E. Strange, Trustee of the Simpleton Trust, dated 5-09-89”. I’m in favor of less disclosure on recorded documents. So I don’t and wouldn’t enumerate the trustee’s duties on the face of a deed nor on any addendum attached thereto.
