Of course, you didn't buy a second, you bought the remaining equity in the asset securing the 2nd!

I did NOT see which state this pertains to, so I will assume CA

The senior does not have to let you keep payments current but they DO have to let you bring it current.

Upon you curing 1st, they would have to start a new foreclosure based on a difference breach: alienation (due on sale) clause in TD
