I like the idea of using bureaucrat to bureaucrat, even though I'm not sure how often it will work. But given my experiences as an admin/exec calling lenders and using lawyers trying to work out loan payments, your way gets the most "like minded" people talking to each other. Lenders work with borrowers of record, not owners of record, and can be pretty impossible when anyone else calls. Private lenders have never been a problem, but the banks have been a stone wall.
