If you re-read my post, maybe you'll pick up on how you use what I'll now spell out better...the universal power of one bureaucrat who is collecting payment for his/her employer's client and persistently but indifferently making inquiries of loan status on the first, while thinking about his/her prior weekend and hopes for his/her team to win this weekend...

The point is: You employ the services of an indiferent bureaucrat who has no particular passion in their voice when dealing with another bureaucrat at the senior lender's servicing center. No drama about what happens when... They just make the call, do their job, and drone on...

The minute they know that you've gone to charm school, they're alerted to the fact that they have a caller who cares about something and they better operate by the book or they'll become one of those poor folks getting 99 weeks of unemployment checks.

Loan servicers don't want to hear what you're worried about. They MIGHT care who your team is, or popular culture or weather, but the person on the other end of the phone just wants to do their, not p*ss their boss off, and go home at 5:00. I've used this technique successfully for 30+ years.
