Innovest Resource Management BBB Business Review

Re: Any Defense Against Abusive HOA Fees?

December 18, 2011 10:26AM
I am famlier with Ward's explanation of the Thayer court case, although I don't know what the one action rule is.

In any event, it seems that all these feels are made up stuff unrelated to the prior owner. On the other hand, none of the fees relate to any substantive work or service (e.g. what the heck is a 'foreclosure processing fee'?

I am taking your advice and writing a letter asking them to waive certain fees and, fit they don't, I will take a shot at small claims court.
