Re: Hiding the Price Paid at Trustee Sale

I just did this at the San Diego County Recorder's Office so I cannot understand why you would be prohibited from removing the purchase price from the Trustee Deed in another County. But, in order to remove it from the recorded deed you have to file the separate Non Disclosure request and you have to put the purchase price on te Non Disclosure request , along with the transfer tax amount (or at least that is what San Diego requires - after much running around by the desk clerk asking supervisors). Maybe you did not put the purchase price on the Non Disclosure?

And, I cleared this with Fidelity National Title who does my title insurance, just to make sure they were not going to have a title problem down the road.
