I'm rooting for a Christmas miracle. Like I said, you just never know what will come back on the demand. I once had escrow make a demand on a valid recorded lien and they sent back the the amount as zero with a release of lien. We don't know what the lender is thinking or what their legal department is up to (or if there is any thinking going on at all). Who was the lender on the original loans?
