If you're the winning bidder at a Trustee's Sale in CA, and take title to the property subject to IRS' 120 day Right of Redemption, you needn't worry that IRS wants the property rather than getting their lien paid off. They are focused on collecting delinquent debts owed the government...not profiting on forfeited properties.
