OK, had a friend that had a second, and the owner got the bid on the first in California. My friend then foreclosed on the second and the court ruled in his favor that the second moved into first because there was no change in ownership, it was just the first being paid off as far as they were concerned.

Owner might have got away with it if he had bid as an entity, but I feel that would have only wiped the second off the property but the debt would still remain and be collectible, so I would get a judgment and hope I could use it sometime. Lawyer time needed for an expert answer, but that is the basis of thought for how I would proceed.
