Is death certificate to be recorded ?

December 23, 2019 10:57AM
Hello Ward and fellow investors

I just got back the recorded Affidavit of Death of Trustee from the recorder office in Orange County, Ca. The assessor office called and inquired a copy of death certificate since they cant find it in the database. So I called recorder's office and found out that they did NOT record the death certificate.

The recorded Affidavit of Death of Trustee does have a barcode on top and so it's now a legal document. Does certificate of death need to be recorded ? Thank you for your help
