On second thought, since the sale might occur close to the Christmas holidays, I might not want to remain in CA after the sale and, instead, have the Trustees Deed sent to a friend to be recorded asap.

all that is required is to present the deed in the office of the County recorder and ask that it be recorded.

For my peace of mind, please confirm your previous explanation [above] and also that no additional signatures, notaries, etc. would be required on the Trustees Deed allowing my friend to simply take it to the County recorder for recording without my presence?
