Sorry I meant regular federal civil court, not the federal bankruptcy court. I understand that federal bankruptcy court has the power and intension to give foreclosed homeowners automatic stay for UD judgement. In my particular case, the foreclosed homeowners didn't go bankruptcy route, instead, they filed the civil suit in the regular federal court for wrongful foreclosure. Just spoke to one attorney. He told me that the federal court system is totally different than state one. As there is no federal landlord-tenant law, the federal judges don't normally interfere the state court UD decision. I just want to double confirm with any law experts on this board with similar experiences.
