You should ask the trustee to refund your money. Money has probably already been sent to lender, so to reverse the legal and accounting steps might take a while. I’d list as many sham QCD as you can find with attorney named on them, photocopy a minimum of six from six unrelated owners, and refer the matter to the state bar asking them to disbar the attorney. If lenders can be criminally charged in the Peoples Republic of CA for wrongful foreclosures, then disbarment of attorneys for wrongful acts in foreclosure defenses is fair.
