If you have access to bankruptcy court data, take one of the names and see if the owner is trying to deed out portions of the property to people who are in bankruptcy. However, the deed has to be recorded BEFORE a bankruptcy case is opened. They cannot deed a portion of property into an existing bankruptcy.

This is an old tactic to try to delay foreclosure, trying to deed a small portion of the property to an entity that can file bankruptcy without the owner having to file bankruptcy themselves.
