Innovest Resource Management BBB Business Review

Title search monkey business

September 23, 2011 01:13PM
Searching the title on a certain property today, I saw about a dozen different grant deeds recorded from the owner to himself plus a "partner in trust." Each "partner in trust" is a different person. It looks like the owner is recording new grant deeds at the rate of about one per month. I don't see how they could have any real effect on the title. What is the point of all these grant deeds? Do they have any impact on the foreclosure or delay its timing? Thanks in advance.
