Case was still open due to Ch 13. Lender got a relief of stay. The house was probably too far underwater and not a part of the workout plan. Contrary to many foreclosures it sounds like the bankruptcy wasn’t solely to delay foreclosure or save house, but to eliminate or reduce other debts to a more manageable level. Suggest you read the bankruptcy file to answer all your questions.
