Congratulations on getting your tenant out.

You may want to ask your attorney or google the dollar amount in CA. It was supposed to go up significantly this year to $700 (see link below). It takes quite a bit of used clothes to be worth $700 unless your in Beverly Hills. Personally, I've never seen anything left behind worth that much, but I know it does happen. I would only worry about it if there's anything better than typical garage sale junk.
