"Taken Off Calendar"- Is This A True Cancellation?

August 06, 2013 05:41PM
I know a tenant that was kept in the dark about the Trustee Sale scheduled on the house they live in. The owner is doing a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo that I'm sure will just postpone the inevitable. Anyway, the Trustee Sale was "taken off calendar". In order to resume the foreclosure process, does the foreclosure trustee have to file a brand new NOD and start the process over, or can they just pop the TS right back on the calendar with no warning time? It seems like postponements are just that but if they take it off calendar they would have to start over again...does anyone know the answer to this? thnx.
