I was referring to courses by the usual gurus, none of which, as far as I know, explain the nitty-gritty of performing a title search, and understanding what you find. Following forum posts gets you the easy stuff (what's a NoD, what's a trust deed, lien priority, etc). It does not help you walk into a recorder's office and know what the hell you're doing. I hadn't even heard about Ward till today, and his course is expensive enough to make one really think about it.
