Re: Expensive? In Reply to: Re: Expensive? posted by jenv on June 24, 2003 at 1:36 AM : : Ward's training seems pretty fair priced to me if you really look at it, $3000 for 36 hours of one on one training amounts to something like $83 per hour, thats the cheapest attorney i've seen yet, I like to look at it like this, if your a mechanic you don't go buy your tools at walmart, you get them from snap-on which may cost 5-10 times as much but they will last forever, the same principle should apply to any trade if you are serious about it. : Is it the specialized and intensive nature of the training that sets it apart? Every experienced investor I've talked to says that the multi-thousand dollar seminars are a waste of money, but then said seminars are usually very general. Have you taken Ward's course? If so, what did you think? I spent 5 hours looking across the table from him in the Trust seminar. At the rate of $150/hour, I received more than five hours of training on topic, but was able to ask a multitude of off-topic questions and get relevant, real-world answers that I could apply to what I was doing. Ward has polished this particular training regimen to a fine sheen. His package includes techniques and paperwork that he has derived from years of doing this stuff. I would expect to see a similar level of usefulness and practicality from the other courses offered by Ward. I contrast the cost and benefit offered through Ward's courses with other seminars taken at higher cost with marginal benefits. He delivers the goods. Jim Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
