The March foreclosure numbers are on a record pace. Recorded Notice of Defaults (NOD), Notice of Trustee Sale (NTS), and Trustees Deeds from 3/1/06 through 3/28/06 are at 649, 211, and 86 respectively. If the number of NODs surpasses 655 it will be the highest number in a month since April 1998. At the average rate of 32 per business day and 3 more recording days left to post, that seems likely.
