Just the indexIn Reply to: Re: Latest foreclosure statistics posted by Joe on March 31, 2006 at 7:46 AM
: : Most of which don't have enough equity to even shake a stick at. At least in my area. I have a script that just rips the index off their web site. It took 3 weeks to grab the index all the way back to 1982. Now daily updates only take about 30 minutes. I wish the documents were online but I talked to the recorder's office and they "have no plans to make the documents available online." It's all academic right now but when I cross reference the index with property records, foreclosure service, and MLS zip code statistics some interesting trends are available like; top winners at trustee's sales, how many properties in each zip code go to foreclosure, time between refinance or purchase and NOD filing, etc. Next I'd like to link it up with PACER but I have no idea how to do that...yet.
