Chapter 13 BK pending, case NOT dismissed, TS sold, this confused me, never happened to me

Hi Ward and Gangs,

I have experienced many BK cases, but this is the first time I am confused. Did I miss this DEAL IN SEVERAL YEARS!!!!???

Borrower is in Chapter 13 BK, case is still open, NOT dismissal. But TS was held. GREAT GREAT deal, haven't seen this great deal for years. It is not in Foreclosure Radar list, so no other one knew it. I didn't bother to bid, thought the sale would be rescinded, it was sold to beneficiary.

But because BK was not filed recently, I felt very very strange, trustee should know it. So I called trustee, and was told they knew the BK, they knew the case is still open, BUT that doesn't affect this sale, sale is VALID!!! They didn't tell me the reason, because I am not the borrower.

What??? How can this happened? in what situation??? Did I miss the greatest deal in several years!!!!!
