A roof is a roof is a roof...In Reply to: Earthviewer posted by Kawika Ohumukini on January 05, 2004 at 4:29 AM : Does anyone else use EarthViewer for scoping out properties and neighborhoods? It's the software used to show satellite images of Iraq that every news agency is using. : We use this quite often. It especially comes in handy when we're looking at properties we could not otherwise travel to such as Seattle, WA and Orlando, FL. I like the nVidia version which lets you tilt and rotate the image to see terrain like mountains and valleys. : If you're not familiar with it here's a link showing snapshots of a "fly-in". Enjoy. : http://houses.colonynet.com/index.2ts?page=flyin : Kawika Ohumukini =?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?= Kawika, I find aerial views too limiting.for what I want to see when looking at property. And I can't imagine ever buying property out of state where you need to depend on someone else to manage everything for a fee. Yes, I admit there's a certain novelty looking at the earth on high, but after a few minutes I wonder about its utility since I would still need a regular photo to really determine curb appeal and other property details.
