Earthviewer

Posted by Kawika Ohumukini on January 05, 2004 at 4:29 AM

Does anyone else use EarthViewer for scoping out properties and neighborhoods? It's the software used to show satellite images of Iraq that every news agency is using.

We use this quite often. It especially comes in handy when we're looking at properties we could not otherwise travel to such as Seattle, WA and Orlando, FL. I like the nVidia version which lets you tilt and rotate the image to see terrain like mountains and valleys.

If you're not familiar with it here's a link showing snapshots of a "fly-in". Enjoy.
