Buyer Can't Close
A buyer has turned a 30 day escrow into a 60 day and they still can't seem to fund their loan. I've talked to escrow and they say I need to get the buyer to sign cancellation instructions to cancel the escrow and the buyer is refusing. What is the best way for a seller to protect themself from this and what legal clause can be put into the sales agreement to allow the seller to cancel in the future if the buyer can't close?
