No, he's not on the street yet, I used it figuratevly, because now it appears that he's occupying the property illegally, and if Chase sends a sherif to his door tomorow to get him out, it doesn't appear that he'll have my defense. And in my opinion, it does put him into a lot of hardship. At least with a short sale you have some deadline when you know you transfer title and you need to move out, but with this situation, I would be beside myself.
