Ward...on that subject. In Reply to: Ex-owner just puts in their claim for the overbid... posted by Ward-CA- on March 03, 2004 at 8:41 PM : : I have a friend in Texas that had his house foreclosed on. He later found out that the house sold for $30k more than was owed on it. He has heard nothing from the party that sold the house. My question is, does my friend have claim to the $30k? If so, can you reference a Texas Law source that I could tell my friend to tell a lawyer about? : : Thank you, : Dusty, : All your friend has to do is contact the trustee who conducted the Trustee's Sale and put in a claim for the overbid amount. Ward, sidebar: this is a top notch website, Ward. Thanks!
