: When an abstract of judgment has been paid off it will be indicated by the recording of a Satisfaction of Judgment.

: To double check you could always pull the case in the issuing court's records and see if it contains a satisfaction of judgment.

Thanks for your quick reply, that definitely helps! What if only part of it has been paid off?

I know sometimes the owner of the judgment and the losing party will make payment arrangements. Not that someone receiving payments would be likely to sell his or her judgment, but can that information be found somewhere?
