Re: Sue the suckers...In Reply to: Sue the suckers... posted by Ward-CA- on October 14, 2003 at 11:45 PM : : Ward, : : I am in Arizona. I have an agreement with Bank One to purchase a 2nd mortgage for $10,000. I have my written offer and Bank Ones' written acceptance good through 10-24-03. When I tried to fund it today I was told by the Bank One representative that the debt was charged off and they can't sell it to me now. I have committed funds to the previous owner and reinstated the first already. Do I have any recourse in forcing Bank One to honor the written offer and written acceptance or did I just lose a lot of money? : : Regards, : Derek, : Couldn't you charge breach of contract in court?
Thanks for your response. In your experiences, have you ever run into this before? Is there a way to 'convince' them to honor our agreement with out such drastic measures? Regards,
