: your situations is not so odd - except that they are not collecting rent....
: a notice of sale should be posted on the property a few weeks before the sal which will contain the sale date
: if you know the owner's name you may also look him up at the county recorders office - the notices should be there as well
: once the house sells, i'd suggest cooperating with the new owner so that they do not need to do an "eviction" - that is not something you want on your record

We've alread tried reaching the landlord. We suspect he went back to Israel.

Is there any way that papers could have been served on him before he left? Any way we can look up a date that doesn't involve paying money to someone?

Once the sale date is established, how much lead time do we usually have? Once it sells, how long do we have before we have to be out? Can we stay all the way thru the end of the sale?

Sorry so many questions!
