Congratulations Sean!In Reply to: Moving Off Square #1 posted by SeanW on September 04, 2003 at 4:52 PM : After studying this board for over a year, and participating in several N.C. auctions, I am heading towards my first deal. The trustee confirmed the closure of the sale today. Now I just need to pay the balance, and get my deed. : It'll be a slow-motion flip for me. I'll live there for now, and sell it next spring. : Bid + property tax + transfer tax will come out around 69 cents on the dollar, for a 3 bedroom starter home built in 1988. Not bad... You sure can't do this, at those nutty, price-is-no-object, southern California sales! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Sean, Yes, you're right. Our trustee's sale bids are ending up at stratospheric levels right now. But what goes up, must come down. In the meantime you learn how to work different aspects of the foreclosure game. Maybe it's dealing with owners before the sale, or doing junior bene buyouts, etc. Keep on researching foreclosure deals so your hard won skills don't get rusty. And you just don't know, you could come across another diamond in the rough. Good luck. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
