Moving Off Square #1

Posted by SeanW on September 04, 2003 at 4:52 PM

After studying this board for over a year, and participating in several N.C. auctions, I am heading towards my first deal. The trustee confirmed the closure of the sale today. Now I just need to pay the balance, and get my deed.

It'll be a slow-motion flip for me. I'll live there for now, and sell it next spring.

Bid + property tax + transfer tax will come out around 69 cents on the dollar, for a 3 bedroom starter home built in 1988. Not bad... You sure can't do this, at those nutty, price-is-no-object, southern California sales!
