Stopping/extending foreclosure

Posted by Dave on August 26, 2003 at 1:26 AM

HI ward,

First off, I want you to know that you have the best web site on foreclosures I've seen yet! Your message boards and links are very very helpful.

My question is this. If a seller agrees to sell you their house but has only 4 days left before the sale date, what's the best way to get the date pushed back, or extended so that you can get the deal done? I understand the seller has to have 5 days to recind any agreement, so how can a deal with only 4 days left (or 1 day left) be completed? You mentioned in one of your senerios that you can stop a foreclosure in 2 hours. What's the best way to do that?

Sincerely,

Dave
