Out of area paperwork package...In Reply to: Package for out of state Owner posted by Joseph Salazar on August 04, 2003 at 9:12 PM : Greetings there Ward, : I have a property in forclosure where the owner is out of state. : Any attempt to contact the owner has resulted in an answer machine. I wish to put a package together that will inform the owner who I am and what my program is all about. : My question is this: Should I send the owner a deed with my company name on it as well as a filled out Purchase and sale agreement? : What other documents should be in the package? : Should the Power of Attorney document be added? : Please help. : Long Distance Closer -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Well, in addition to your offer to purchase form and deed, I’d include a nice cover letter explaining the need for speed (impending foreclosure sale) and what I was proposing and an Affidavit of Deed. I don’t think you need a Special Power of Attorney so I would not include one. Hope this helps.
