You need a street address as your "place of business".In Reply to: Ward... posted by zachary on June 26, 2003 at 7:38 PM : Ward thanks for the answer regarding the biz address on the EPA. : What about the address on the notice of cancel? : do you see a pronlem with a POB in the notice of cancelation. : Sorry for picking this apart!! I am meeting a seller tomorrow and really really don't want to give this guy my home address. : Zachary, I’m glad you’re picking this apart. It’s caused me to go over CC 1695 more slowly and thoroughly. And I now see a problem using a POB in the Notice of Cancellation. In fact, I’d think you’d be a lot safer using a business address for all addresses used, even those in the Equity Purchase Contract. Why, because of the following references: At 1695.3 (a) it states that you need to use a “business address”. At 1695.4 (b) it just states “address”. But when reading the verbiage of the Notice of Cancellation it requires that the address be the “Street address of the purchaser’s place of business”. So I think you need to have an active “business address”, not a post office box or postal drop, as the address used for this activity. Don’t agree with me until you’ve done a thorough read of CC 1695 for yourself.
