Donate it to charity. In Reply to: Getting rid of a timeshare posted by Cherie on June 26, 2003 at 8:31 AM
: Bought a relatively inexpensive timeshare 15 years ago, used it several times and am now stuck with it after a divorce. I listed it with Century21's timeshare division 2 years ago, they were to auction it off for nearly nothing, and that of course was the expected scam. But worth a try. : The maintenance fees are $400 per year and I doubt Ill ever use it again, so Im wondering if anyone knows of a successful way to rid yourself of an unwanted timeshare at Myrtle Beach? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Cherie, Why not find a local church or charity you can donate it to?
