Should I find out if the mother left a will?: =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Yes, the older daughter will do as well as the husband. And yes, you really need to look to see if Mom left a will. If the daughter, as the Administratrix, will sell you the property on behalf of the estate, then you won't have to buy out each prospective heir. Just pay the cash over to the Admimistratrix to buy the house and let her distribute it or pay it out to the estate's creditors.
