Also, what can a homeowner do after the sale or transfer of title if the foreclosure process itself was done incorrectly? : ============ : Tfai, : Sure, if the theres some compelling misjustice taking place a court might allow a homeowner to redeem their property either before or after title has been perfected in the name of a bidder. : It actually happened here in Southern California several months ago where a debtor miscalculated the amount of money to reinstate her delinquent balance by less than $100. The reinstatement was rejected by the lender who proceeded to order the property auctioned off. : After the auction sale the homeowner went to court and persuaded a sympathetic judge to reverse the sale.
