I just called them and it turns out it is just an inter office code for their use, it doesnt mean anything and is not a regulation or anything like that. On a different but related subject, several times now, the HOA's have been charging me $200 or more for document fees in addition to a $200+ transfer fee. This is just for my purchase and I never recieve the "documents". then when it comes time to sell you get to pay both of those fees again. I need some way to get out of the front end document fee as that seems very unethical to charge me for that.
