Trustee Sale Question in CA. Need Help With!!

Posted by Joann on October 26, 2010 at 1:53 AM

Hello,

I hope you guys can help me answer this question about the trustee company legal standing in california.

If the trustee company in california filed a NOD more than 12 months that's on record, would they have to re-file a new NOD before they can legally file the Trustee Sale Notice and Auction the property?

Is there some timeline the trustee company and lender would have to act on the trustee sale after the NOD has been filed before its VOID? and would have to re-file a new NOD to start the process over again?

Is there a place to look up the foreclosure law for this?

Thanks,
Jo
