No choice necessary...In Reply to: 3 day notice? 90 day notice? posted by Don Paris on November 14, 2009 at 11:07 PM Don, Since the holdover occupants can't be classed as ex-owners, you have to handle the situation as if they are tenants. However, since they are disabled, and you aren't licensed to care for them, you need to call your county Adult Protection Services (APS) unit as soon as possible. They will make sure the patients are properly farmed out to the right local facility to give them they care they require. In this instance I don't think you need to have to hand out any eviction notices. Your APS will step in right away.
