Creditials don't assure competency, but they may help navigate around CA's civil code. As for just moving papers around, as the old saying goes, "if were that easy, everybody would be doing it." I am certain that a degree of skill and expertise is required, even if much of the role involves patience and persistence. Also, I wouldn't be inclined to see them all as fungible commodities, any more than real estate agents, loan officers or anyone else providing a service. People are unique and that's why I have strong preferences to work with some service providers and refuse to work with others. So I think the dilemma will be in finding people qualified to add this value, for a price, with a degree of certainty as to the desired results. As with most effective service providers, the best will get their business by way of referrals; others will be effective marketers. And when the R.E. mess is over, they will all need to find other work.
