: Ward you stated:

: : "Have you ever considered buying from the defaulted owner their right of redemption when you buy the property at auction? That way you’d hold both the certificate of title and the redemption right and wouldn’t have to wait thru redemption period since you own the right.
: : Just a thought."

: Can you explain this to me in a little more detail? I don't fully understand.
: Thanks,

Barry,

If you had the right to the title of property after the expiration of the right of redemption (certificate of title) and also bought up the right to redeem the title prior to its cancellation date, then no one could redeem against your right to title acquired at the auction sale. Since no one could possibly redeem against you in that case you should be able to convert your certificate of title into the actual title right away.
