: Question: I'm about to start building and selling homes (no holding). Was already to start doing this through an S Corp (will use QSSS and LP later when I get into more projects). A friend just told me that it's it's better to vest a property in the name of an LP rather than a corporation. Distributions from LPs are taxed at basis, but S-Corps are taxed at current Fair Market Value, which would be higher. Do you know if this is correct or not? Thanx, Alfred
