: I had a Georgia realtor tell me that an individual : I see an awefull lot of apartment complexes paying : Thanks, ========================= Chuck, There's no uniform approach to the practice of paying finder's fees in the real estate arena from state to state. Here in CA the rule is that a finder's fee is legal as long as the finder does nothing more than introduce A to B. In this state, a finder cannot negotiate any of the terms of a real estate transaction on the behalf of someone else without having a real estate license. It's my understanding that in other states a finder's fee is not permitted under any circumstance.
