Wait until some the air seeps out of the market...In Reply to: Opportunity at Trustee Sale posted by steve w on March 24, 2004 at 8:22 AM : Ward, while following many properties to the Trustee Sale on a foreclosing 1st, most 2nd's are bidding at the sale up to almost the full value of the property. : How do I find opportunity in today's over mortgaged homes where the junior mortgages are reluctant to forfeit their loans and simply forget to come bid at the sale? : Should I only be chasing properties with enough equity beyond the junior mortgages at the TS? : It feels like I'm spinning my wheels. Please help. Thank you. -- Steve (in Calif). Steve, Bidding at Trustee's sales here in CA at the present time is a very tough proposition, especially in the large metropolitan areas. So I and many other pro's have just backed off until the inevitable return to normalcy occurs (post-election).
