My money is tied up in a foreclosure. Lady filed for bankruptcy in Dec., after the auction. She has been postponing her reorganization papers since early Feb. Is there a time limit to submit the reorganization plan? : ==================== : How does a bankruptcy filing made after the trustee's sale impact on you? Are you trying to gain possession of the property or what? : If your problem is gaining possession of the premises, that's fairly easy to do. The Court will grant you an expedited hearing and give you your relief from stay in about 15 days. Hi, I won the auction, and at the court confirmation, they said she filed for bankruptcy. So we have no actual rights to the house yet. I just wanted to know if there is a time limit for her to file her reorganization plan. From what I understand, her first date to submit was in early Feb. and she keeps getting it postponed. Does the court only give you a specific amount of time to submit the plan, or do you have unlimited time to reorganize?
