Reinstatement limits...

: Ward, I read that after the notice of trustee sale is posted, and advertised, you can no longer reinstate the loan, and that the only way to save the owner's home at that time is by paying the entire amount due. Can you please elaborate a litle on this one? - I had never heard of such a thing.

Gonzalo,

The Right of Reinstatement runs up to 5 business days before the scheduled sale. During the 5 days the beneficiary can insist on a full loan payoff of all monies due, or use their discretion to continue to allow a reinstatement instead of a total payoff.
