Perhaps they're telegraphing their independence from the corporate world...In Reply to: Light hearted observation posted by l on March 04, 2004 at 6:10 PM : Is there a strategy being employed by some of the frequent bidders at the Trustee Sales in California upon where they dress really shabby and seemingly wear the same clothes each day? Its an interesting thing to see them work with millions of dollars yet dress as if they are poverty stricken. Maybe they work so many hours they don't have time? I'm definitely not trying to put anyone down and if there is some benefit to this or if it would help me achieve the same type of levels of success they have achieved. ================ There's no rationale other than personal taste, or lack of it, that dictates how bidders dress at the foreclosure auctions. Perhaps it's just acting out the attitude that they don't have to adhere to any arbitrary dress code now that they are self-employed. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
